Itinerary:

Valid for 01NOV19-31MAR20:
A SEIT Outback Australia vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a half day Patji tour. Travelling through Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park with the impressive Uluru close by, you will meet your Aboriginal host at the Cultural Centre. Leaving Uluru behind, you head south out of the national park onto Aboriginal land known as Patji, and your off-road adventure begins! You will explore this extraordinary environment and hear stories of how life was for the local Anangu (Aboriginal) people and how it is today. Visit the site where the original Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park gates once stood, marvel at rock waterholes and learn about this ever changing environment. Join your Anangu host for morning tea round the campfire at a custom built shelter and learn aspects of the history such as how Paddy Uluru fought for Aboriginal land rights to where Uluru is today. Learn about the flora and fauna of the region that has been crucial to the survival of the Uluru family for thousands of years. Continue on via remote bush tracks through the desert to a private Patji sand dune to appreciate the expanse of this desert region as you marvel at the sweeping views over Uluru and Kata Tjuta with a light lunch. After lunch you will farewell your Aboriginal host at the Cultural Centre and your SEIT guide will return you to your hotel at Ayers Rock Resort at approximately 2.00pm.
