Itinerary:

Board the luxury coach early in the afternoon and travel east from Yulara and see Atila (Mt Conner) in the distance. This fascinating mesa is the third of the great monoliths, lying east of Uluru and on the western fringe of the vast cattle station, Curtin Springs. Six hundred million years ago, large parts of Central Australia were below sea level and there is evidence that Uluru, Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and Atila are all part of one giant mostly underground rock formation, stretching some 130 kms. Enter impressive Watarrka National Park, home of the George Gill Ranges, a sandstone block running westward to Kings Canyon for about 60 kms. On its southern face are several gorges containing springs which harbour unique species, and the top of the range supports a rich and unusual variety of flora. Found in the George Gill Ranges is the famous Kings Canyon. There is a courtesy drop-off at Kings Canyon Wilderness Lodge. Tour concludes at Kings Canyon Resort.
