Stokes Bay Bush Garden


Stokes Bay Bush Garden offers an easy look at a unique collection of Kangaroo Island and Australian plants in a three-hectare setting. Just four kilometres from Stokes Bay on the Stokes Bay Road, the garden offers over 150 Kangaroo Island species, 16 endemic plants, over 1,500 named plants, over 75 different Banksias, more than 45 different Dryandras, over 145 types of Grevilleas and many seasonal native Orchids. Seeds and timber crafts are available for sale. As seen on ABC Gardening Australia.

Closed during June and July unless by appointment. Normal opening times may be extended by prior arrangement.

Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park and Aquarium


The Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park is located three kilometres past Parndana in the centre of Kangaroo Island, South Australia.

Set over 50 acres and home to over 800 animals, visitors can spend time with some of Australia's unique wildlife in a fun, educational environment. Hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies, get up close and cuddle koalas, see penguins play, hold wombats, and view our diverse range of cassowaries, dingoes, reptiles, birds, echidnas, aquariums and much more.

Join in at their daily talks and displays where you can see and hear about some of their animals up close and have the chance to pat and interact with them.

Have lunch in their cafe, grab a coffee or ice-cream, relax and listen to the birds chatter. It is a fun day out for visitors of all ages!

Australian Red Gum products are hand turned from Kangaroo Island timbers that were relics of huge trees that once graced the western end of Kangaroo Island in South Australia.

Kangaroo Island artist Jon Gloyne puts life back into the swamp gum stumps by producing a product that is beautiful and useful.

There is a comprehensive range of quality hand turned Red Gum products for you to purchase ranging from pepper and salt mills to beautiful salad bowls, fruit platters, Red Gum clocks and barometers.
