St Johns Park

St Johns Park is a suburb of Liverpool City, a south-western municipality about 30km south-west of Sydney's CBD.

St Johns Park and bordering Cabramatta are among Australia's most diversely multicultural working class suburbs. This diversity is obvious in the number and range of ethnic restaurants and stores which are rapidly winning true blue converts to new food, tastes, shopping habits and lifestyles.

It is just a short drive to Prairiewood and the Bossley Bush Recreation Reserve, which incorporates a golf course and the Fairfield showground and trotting track.

Founded on November 7, 1810, the then town of Liverpool is the fourth oldest in Australia. The last census determined that the City of Liverpool area is one of the fastest growing in Australia with the latest estimate putting the population at 137,066 - a five-fold growth since 1960 when just 30,000 people called Liverpool home.
