Valid for 22NOV11-31AUG12: Ayers Rock Resort Conference and Meeting Space Renovations and Refurbishment: - Hours of work: 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 7:00am to 12:00pm Saturdays. - Noise/pollution: limited noise pollution expected due to scope of refurbishment, no loud noise prior to 9:00am. - Air pollution: none expected. - Sight pollution: none expected, alternative guest thoroughfare to town square from Sails in the Desert will be provided. - Flow of workers: guided through back of house areas wherever possible, minimal impact to guests. - New look Conference Centre: A new ballroom will be created in front of the existing Conference Centre building, connected to it via a new pre-function space. The existing Conference Centre building will be remodelled internally. - Refurbishment dates are subject to change.
Valid for 30JAN12-05SEP12: Redevelopment of Public Areas: - The redevelopment and refurbishment of public areas will incorporate the hotel entry foyer, Mulgara Art Gallery, Winkiku Restaurant, Kuniya Restaurant and Tali Bar all of which will not be open during the period 30JAN12-05SEP12. - Hours of work: 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 7:00am-12:00pm Saturdays. - Noise/pollution: Noise pollution expected due to scope of refurbishment, no loud noise prior to 9:00am. - Air pollution: None expected. - Sight pollution: Some guest impact as area under renovation will be blocked from guest view. - Flow of workers: Guided through back of house areas wherever possible, minimal impact to guests. - Hotel access: Alternative route provided for guests to proceed from drop-off point at arrival driveway to hotel reception. - Refurbishment dates are subject to change.
Valid for 01APR11-31MAR13: Closure of Winkiku Restaurant: Winkiku Restaurant will remain closed for dinner until further notice. However the restaurant will still be open for breakfast as usual and for group lunches as required. Alternative dinner options are: For Groups: Until further notice group dinners reserved at Winkiku Restaurant will continue being served in the Bough House Restaurant at the Outback Pioneer Hotel and Lodge where a buffet dinner of a similar standard to Winkiku Restaurant will be served. A return coach transfer to the Outback Pioneer Hotel and Lodge will be provided on behalf of Voyages Hotels and Resorts. For Individual Travellers Sails in the Desert Hotel: Kuniya Restaurant - open for dinner daily. Sails in the Desert Hotel: Tali Bar - open daily for all-day dining offering snacks, light meals and refreshments on the pool terrace. Desert Gardens Hotel: Arnguli Grill - a la carte flame-grilled menu including steak and seafood, open for dinner daily. Outback Pioneer Hotel and Lodge: The Bough House Restaurant - serving buffet dinner. Outback Pioneer Hotel and Lodge: Outback BBQ - cook-your-own style with traditional Aussie charm, open for dinner daily. Ayers Rock Resort Town Square: Gecko's Café - serving gourmet pizzas, pasta and popular international style dishes open for lunch and dinner daily. Ayers Rock Resort: Sounds of Silence - award winning dining experience under the stars.
