Moorooroo Park is a boutique accommodation retreat along the banks of the famous Jacobs Creek. The ancestral home of the Nitschke family, the property has been restored to offer six individually appointed country style suites, each featuring king bedrooms, Barossa antiques, and luxury spa or Romanesque bath ensuites. Guests can choose from the wide boutique range of rooms such as studio suites featuring king-size beds, luxurious spa, the loft suites with an upstairs loft bedroom overlooking the extensive lawns and famous Jacobs Creek giving it a breath taking romantic view, Retreat suites with added spaces of a private sitting room and wide veranda to relax out and beautifully restored orchard room villa is set among our peach orchard and shiraz vineyard giving guests a romantic escape. All the suites are complimented with mini bar, LCD flat screens, spa, double shower, CD player and tea/coffee maker. The Gardens of Moorooroo Park are regarded as one of the most beautiful in Australia. These French inspired gardens are a place to relax into isolation and tranquillity at the end of a day touring the Barossa Valley. Stroll through our beautifully scented David Austen rose garden, relax in our secluded and intimate courtyards, explore our olive grove, Shiraz vineyards and fruit orchards. Relax on the banks of Jacobs Creek beneath the towering red gums in absolute tranquillity. The food and wine experience of the Barossa Valley is nothing short of World Class. Offering an array of fresh produce from all throughout the region, as well as the generations of viticulture experience, food and wine is the Barossa Valleys major drawcard. Moorooroo Park is co located with our Boutique Cellar Door Moorooroo Park Vineyards, first established by the Nitschke Family around 1847. Specialising in traditional artisan wines grown from vines within the Valley Floor, we have a small range of premium wines ranging from our Flagship range of Sparkling Shiraz, Cabernets Blend and straight Shiraz, to our sweet Moscato and Aged sweet Semillon 'Dolce Far Niente". Our wines our now being featured in some of Australias leading restaurants including Auge Ristorante, Grossi Florantino, Bilsons, Aria, Absynthe, and Palazzo Versace. Moorooroo Park invites you on a tour of our 1840's bluestone settlement, perfect for romantic getaways, small groups, private functions and exclusive small weddings. Our property is the inspiration of our personal travels through the romantic countryside villages of France, Italy and Spain.
